We identify and invite key stakeholders. We issue questionnaires to these stakeholders prior to a mini kick-off meeting. We then interview the stakeholders individually to identify pain points and challenges and what they believe great ITAM processes look like. We then review any existing policies and process documents and the availability of tooling and data. Depending on your requirements, we may also investigate your current team capacity, capability and RACI. 

Once we’ve completed the discovery phase, we’ll prepare and issue a draft design and recommendation document to stakeholders for validation and feedback. Then, once this is completed, we submit our final recommendation to the Software Governance Board for approval and sign-off.

I am a Senior Manager at FisherITS and I am responsible for the overall delivery of Compliance Optimisation and SAM Maturity Transformation programmes. I started my career as a licence compliance auditor at a “Big Four” firm and have acted on behalf of a number of large software vendors by leading over a hundred enterprise-level license audits.

At FisherITS, my focus has been on providing my “poacher-turned-game-keeper” expertise to large enterprise customers to help them address tactical and strategic challenges in SAM and software licensing.
