Our maturity transformation advisory service is designed to provide you with a clear picture of your current software asset management (SAM) practice and level of ITAM risk assessment.
We identify any areas of concern prior to you investing into IT asset management (ITAM) or SAM. We design bespoke SAM target operating models for our clients that address the identified risks and ensure that your SAM programme delivers the best value for money for your business.
Get In TouchWe identify and invite key stakeholders to engage in the process of implementing your organisation's own SAM and ITAM governance programme. This ensure buy in from all relevant parties as we provide you with a draft design and recommendations to inform your decision making.
Investment into software and ITAM processes is essential to efficient business operations. We can help you to plan your investment strategically and help you implement a best practice target operating model. We measure return on investment so you can immediately see the value that SAM and ITAM are adding to your business.
Business are increasingly reliant on robust IT and software management best practice due to increased software publisher compliance audit activities, the need to cut costs, and the importance of ensuring comprehensive business security.
Many companies invest heavily into their SAM and ITAM programmes but they are not as successful as they could be as they’re not aligned with business objectives, stakeholder commitments, and comprehensive planning. There’s no quick fix or silver bullet tool that will make the problems go away, not effectively.
FisherITS works with you to identify and agree on business outcomes from your planned ITAM processes and SAM investments. We build a Target Operating Model that reflects these outcomes and aligns them with ISO 19770-1 best practice. This assures you that any money you spend on ITAM processes is targeted and measured, and that your ITAM operations will deliver on your intended return on investment.

We identify and invite key stakeholders. We issue questionnaires to these stakeholders prior to a mini kick-off meeting. We then interview the stakeholders individually to identify pain points and challenges and what they believe great ITAM processes look like. We then review any existing policies and process documents and the availability of tooling and data. Depending on your requirements, we may also investigate your current team capacity, capability and RACI.
Once we’ve completed the discovery phase, we’ll prepare and issue a draft design and recommendation document to stakeholders for validation and feedback. Then, once this is completed, we submit our final recommendation to the Software Governance Board for approval and sign-off.
Our service provides clear and comprehensive ITAM risk assessment, planning, and complete transparency, visibility and stakeholder alignment. What we deliver is:
At FisherITS, my focus has been on providing my “poacher-turned-game-keeper” expertise to large enterprise customers to help them address tactical and strategic challenges in SAM and software licensing.
